Website use

The website and ebook provide general information about EHCPs and SEND in England. Individual advice is limited to the scope of an agreed service. Site materials are for personal use. Other reuse requires permission unless the law allows it.

Consultancy

The initial 15-minute enquiry is free. Your service, scope, fees and payment terms are agreed in writing before work starts. Additional work requires separate agreement. See services and fees for the packages available.

Please provide agreed documents and tell us about relevant deadlines. We provide the agreed service with reasonable care and skill. Decisions about an EHCP, placement or appeal remain with the relevant decision-maker.

Cancellations and refunds

If you are a consumer and agree to a consultancy contract remotely, you generally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel. Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel, using the contact details in your agreement or the formal notices address above. You can use the optional wording below.

I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service], ordered on [date]. My name and address are [name and address]. Date [date].

If you expressly ask us to start during that period and then cancel, we may charge a proportionate amount for work supplied, where the law allows. If you also acknowledge that your cancellation right will end once the service is fully performed, the right ends when we finish the service. Any statutory cancellation refund due will be made within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise.

Outside any statutory cancellation right, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds for completed consultancy. If you cancel before the work is complete, any charge under your written agreement must be fair and reflect our actual loss after allowing for costs saved and steps we can reasonably take to reduce that loss.

Ebook purchases

Understanding EHCPs is an English-language digital download available in PDF or EPUB format. Choose your format on Payhip before purchasing. PDF requires a PDF reader; EPUB requires an EPUB-compatible app or device. Payhip Limited supplies the download under its checkout terms. If you expressly agree to immediate supply and acknowledge the loss of your cancellation right, that right can end when the download is supplied, subject to the required confirmation. Contact Payhip through your receipt for cancellations, refunds or payment issues.

Consumer rights

Your statutory rights apply, including remedies for services or digital content that fail to meet legal standards. The law of England and Wales applies, subject to any mandatory protections and courts available to you where you live.
